It may only have been a week but it felt like forever. And the break from running has made me realise how far away from any sensible level I was.
The truth is I am way short of stamina and speed. And another truth is that I am struggling socially, so turning out to a running group on a Monday may not happen. It was snowed off week 1, and then this week there may have still been a bit of ice so I didn't bother... I fear this may be a regular pattern. I did do 5k on a treadmill though. So that's something.
Ran to work this morning, which was a little over three miles at a very sedate pace.
So revised plan, get back to comfortable pace for 60 minutes. End of February.
